Next

We were requested in Autumn 2000 to produce a sample of the ornate cornice in one of the primary rooms.

All work in this contract has to be carried out using the original lime based plaster and cornice work to be run insitu

Blocking out the cornice1T.jpg (11956 bytes) The muffled out mould is run to block out the cornice with coarse stuff

Finishing the run cornice T.jpg (10294 bytes) The fine gauged lime finish is applied to leave a smooth surface

Fitting the enrichments into the run cornice sockets

Finishing the wall & ceiling T.jpg (5302 bytes) Lime finishing is applied and towelled to a smooth finish
