Dome strip out and lath

Ingress of water over the years destroyed the plaster dome, shields arches and corbel mouldings. The plaster had to be stripped out; the timbers treated and renewed as required. Stainless steel metal lathing was fixed to the framing; the complete dome was replastered, one arch beam detail, corbel mouldings and shields were replaced insitu.
