An adjusting lime coat is applied to the straightened and cured walls and ceiling, prior to fitting the cornice rods

The haired lime & sand is gauged with plaster and applied this is then formed into the cornice backing using a horsed up running mould.

Once cured the lime finishing is applied and run with the mould to produce a smooth finish
