Water had saturated the ceiling from above the complete ceiling & cornice had to be striped out and reinstated

The two layers of plasterboard were fitted to the ceiling branders and cornice "Scotch" bracketing the plasterboard was straightened and finished with "Thistle Universal" plaster.

 

Gypsum plaster was used to block out the cornice and lime and gypsum to finish the cornice . Fitting the enrichments to both cornice and ceiling moulding completed the reinstatement
