The case mould

The completed master cornice now prepared it is covered in a 12 mm layer of clay, a fibreglass case mould is laid up when cured the case can be lifted of and the clay removed.

The case is sealed over the master cornice with filler funnels and breather pipes fitted; the two part silicon is poured in this takes up the space left where the clay was.

After a curing period of 24 hours the fibreglass case is removed along with the silicon from the  cornice master
